Origin:

Ramen translates to "stretch noodles" which comes from the process of stretching dough to shape noodles traditionally. Nearly every region in Japan has its own variation of ramen, from the tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen of Kyushu to the miso ramen of Hokkaido.

How to use:

Noodles for soup, It consists of wheat noodles served in a meat broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork (chashu), dried seaweed (nori), boiled egg and green onions.

Yield:

4.4 oz Japanese Ramen (1 nest) to yield 7.3 oz serving size. 16oz Japanese Ramen to yield 26.4oz serving size.
